When you're expecting, or new to motherhood, free diaper samples are a hot commodity.

I always wondered why getting diaper samples for free was so rare. It seemed like free formula samples and coupons showed up in my mailbox every other month.

According to the official Huggies website, parents of little ones under 18 months can join the 'Huggies Enjoy the Ride' program to receive promotional product info and coupons. It states that samples are distributed to new parents through participating hospitals.

I do recall receiving one Huggies diaper sample in the mail when my oldest daughter was a baby. But the only free Pampers samples I got were in the hospital. So perhaps Pampers has a similar company policy. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if my long-form bill listed those "free" diapers somewhere too.

Your best bet for free baby samples, diaper or otherwise, is probably through third party promotions. Search online and sign up for as many programs as you can offering free baby samples. Be warned, you are opening the floodgates for a lot of junk mail, but you'll also be on the list for those coveted samples.
